Structured retirement planning process designed to replace uncertainty with clarity, validation, and a guided income strategy.
This page provides a deeper look at how each stage of the G.R.I.P. framework is delivered through a 4-meeting client process..
The first meeting can be conducted in person or via Zoom. The focus is alignment and understanding—not product discussion.
We review:
• Retirement goals and expectations
• Existing written retirement plans (if any)
• What the client expects from a retirement planner
• Whether values, mindset, and expectations align
The goal is to determine if both sides are comfortable working together under a shared planning philosophy.
This meeting ensures alignment before any financial analysis begins.

This meeting focuses on a detailed financial discovery process to validate the client’s current retirement readiness. We review:
• Whether a written budget exists
• Whether a written retirement plan exists
• Current asset positioning
• Whether assets are being used for income
• Long-term care planning considerations
• Wealth transfer intentions (children and grandchildren)
We also gather structured data using the “3 W’s”:
• Where is your money now?
• When do you want to use it?
• What do you want it to do?
Additional items collected include:
• Children’s names and dates of birth
• Income-to-expense ratio analysis
• Full asset breakdown
At the end of this meeting, the next appointment is scheduled.
Between Meeting 2 and Meeting 3, a personalized 3-ring G.R.I.P. proposal is prepared.
This strategy meeting includes a structured review of:
Real client examples dating back to 2002
demonstrating income and long-term care outcomes.
The risk of outliving retirement income
and the importance of structured planning.
A guaranteed increasing income
strategy built using the G.R.I.P. framework.
Client-specific income illustrations
based on gathered financial data.
Financial Strength of
Recommended Companies

This final meeting focuses on reviewing the complete strategy and preparing for implementation.
We review:
• The personal G.R.I.P. strategy in full
• Financial strength of recommended companies
• Any remaining questions or clarifications
Once confirmed, the implementation process begins.
This includes:
• Collecting required documentation (DOB, SSN forms, ID,
beneficiary information)
• Coordinating asset transfers into the new structure
• Preparing accounts for implementation
The client is guided step-by-step through the entire transition process.
